The Won der LAND tree was drawn directly and intuitively onto crinoline using high speed freehand machine embroidery. The tree was sewn in stages over a period of 18 months and finally completed in November 2012. Won der LAND Tree is perhaps about half a million stitches The Artists sewing machine is called Lily.
